Brighten Your Smile
Professional whitening services are a safe, effective way to remove surface stains and lighten the colour of your teeth.
The whitening solution contains active ingredients such as hydrogen peroxide and carbamide peroxide.
Oxygen begins to act on the tooth enamel as the active ingredient breaks down, and produces the whitening effect.
As there are some potential risks with the process causing teeth to become brittle over time, we typically recommend a minimum age of 16 for teeth whitening. We invite you to contact us with any questions you may have.

For patients with discoloured or stained teeth, at-home teeth whitening is a convenient, effective way to brighten their smile - and increase their confidence. We are always ready to help with advice and a guiding hand.
At-Home Whitening
Our at-home whitening system is designed for ease of use and can brighten your teeth in a matter of days. We create custom-made trays in which you place the professional whitening gel.
These trays can be worn for a few hours a day – preferably while you sleep – and will help you achieve a progressively brighter smile.
Typically, treatments take a few weeks.
Spa-Dent Whitening
We also offer in-office whitening, effective for quick results and stain removal.
This can be a helpful option for when you have a special event coming up, or as an alternative to wearing the take-home trays.
How It Works
During your teeth whitening appointment, we will create a custom whitening tray to take impressions of your teeth.
You'll return for another appointment to pick up your tray, whitening, gel, and detailed instructions on how to apply the gel.
You'll place the whitening gel in each tray and you'll need to wear the trays in your mouth for about 1 to 2 hours each day. Many patients wear their trays overnight, as they sleep.
The Results
Typically, you'll see results within 10 to 14 days, with a significant change in tooth colour generally occurring in four to six weeks.
Occasionally, the effectiveness of tooth whitening may be minimal if teeth are seriously stained.
In these instances, an alternative treatment to consider may be dental crowns or veneers.
